Export briefs as markdown or download your full account data as JSON.


Export a Single Brief

From any brief:

  1. Click Export (download icon)
  2. A .md file downloads immediately

The file includes: priority title, rank, focus engine label and all 5 brief sections.


Batch Brief Export

  1. Go to the Priorities page
  2. Hover over priorities to reveal checkboxes and select the ones you want
  3. Click Export in the batch action bar

A single combined .md file downloads with all selected briefs, each with rank and focus engine context. Maximum 100 briefs per batch.

Export all briefs: Select all priorities, then click Export. Downloads as one combined file.


Full Account Export (JSON)

Downloads all your workspace data as a structured JSON file.

What's included:

  • All feedback items
  • All priorities with scores and history
  • All briefs with full version history
  • User context and settings
  • Team members
  • Activity log

What's excluded:

  • Embedding vectors (too large to be useful outside Circuit)
  • Auth tokens (shown as [REDACTED])

To export:

  1. Go to Settings → Account → Data
  2. Click Export Account Data
  3. The download starts immediately

Rate limit: 5 exports per hour. Export is GDPR Article 15 and 20 compliant (right of access and portability).


Export via MCP

From Cursor or Claude Code, use circuit.act to export priorities as markdown directly from your editor.
